ABOUT CAROLINE →
Caroline Herring is a Charleston based photographer, artist, stylist, and set designer. Blending color pop, light play, and elaborate concepts, Caroline focuses on commercial photography and creative portraiture.
A small town native at the root, Herring's intrigue for visual storytelling began in the early 2000's with her mother’s hot pink Panasonic Lumix. Curiosity soon became passion and purpose, leading Caroline to earn a BFA in Photography from Clemson University in 2018.
Channeling the same childhood wonder that started it all, Caroline strives to design playful worlds unique to every subject and their story.

"...where photography meets curation, it becomes design."

everything I could imagine, she captured on paper!
Caroline is extremely comforting, timely, and organized. prior to the shoot, we met to discuss my vision and from there, she curated a mood board and mocked up a shoot schedule to accomplish everything we planned.
one of the most fun and amazing shoots ever!

Caroline is one of the warmest people I’ve had the pleasure of working with!
never did I expect to feel so confident and creative in front of a camera, but she brings it out of anyone!

I shared my music with her describing what I was thinking, and the visual concepts she vision boarded were brought to life so seamlessly.
I absolutely love Caroline's attention to detail, and felt immediately comfortable to just be myself in front of the camera. I’m so thankful I was able to work with her and would do it again!
