SALVAGE
— how do we grieve a childhood lost while nurturing the inner child that remains?

A recreation of childhood memory in response to grief—picturesque stills of familial heirlooms and mementos channel utopian childhood nostalgia despite immense inner sadness for ones lost and time passed.

A body of inherited and found objects acts as self portraits of the artist and a shared human experience for viewers.

How do we grieve a childhood lost while nurturing the inner child that remains?
